Robert W. Jones
Robert Jones is the teacher and conductor for the Taft High School Orchestra. He studied at San Angelo State University and graduated with a degree in music education.

Orchestra Student Officers
Taft Student Officers are a team of students representing the orchestra and collaborating to make the orchestra better every year.

Varsity Orchestra
Taft Varsity Orchestra is the highest level playing orchestra. An audition is required for students to be part of varsity. Apart from performing in our school concerts, this is also the orchestra to perform in invitationals like the Tobin center.

Junior Varsity Orchestra
Taft Junior Varsity Orchestra is the intermediate level playing orchestra. Students in the freshman orchestra advance to Junior varsity orchestra for their second year of orchestra. Incoming freshmen need to send an audition to be placed in this orchestra.

Freshman Orchestra
The Crimson and White Orchestras are the first tier orchestras where freshmen and first-year orchestra students are placed until further advancement, normally after completing freshman year.
